Type 1 DOT Turbidity Curtain

The Type 1 DOT Floating Silt Curtain is our strongest available Calm Water Curtain and is used to control suspended silt and turbidity in calm water areas. Often used for longer term projects, DOT jobs, or demanding locations, these barriers have helped protect aquatic life and prevent the spread of unwanted materials during construction projects. All floating curtains come standard in section lengths of either 50 or 100 feet. Standard depth for the bottom skirt is typically five feet (5'), however, skirts can be made in any depth up to 100 feet to meet site requirements. Compare all Type 1 Calm Water Turbidity Curtains.

The Type 1 DOT model featured here is our highest strength calm water model and is used for any location that requires extended control.
