Calm Water Oil Boom Specifications
Calm Water Floating boom are designed specifically for areas with limited water flows and currents. For areas with currents or waves, tensions cables will be added to the boom to provide additional strength against these factors. Oil Containment Boom Installation
- Lay Out Multiple Sections of Oil Boom (if multiple sections are required)
- Connect Sections Together:
- Top Connection is through slide connectors located along the upper portions of the boom
- Middle Connection is achieved through grommets located along the entire depth of the boom
- Bottom Connection is through shackles located at the bottom of the boom
- Top Connection is through slide connectors located along the upper portions of the boom
- Tow the Boom into Position (often achieved through tow bridles)
